WHO WE ARE

ALEX AUSTIN

Coach Alex began A-train magic here in Utah, in 2004 after a career playing basketball professionally in the NBA and in Europe. Alex loves coaching and helping kids to learn the skills and understanding to play at the next level- whatever that may be. He excels at teaching basketball basics and then building skill and knowledge from there. Alex loves that he is able to give back to his community build the next generation through basketball and service.

Aaron Schroeder

Coach Aaron has been with the A-Train program for 4 years. He excels at building kids, whether it in be their skills, confidence or their shot. Aaron is a grounding force on the coaching staff and has a mind for analytics and seeing trends in the game and the strengths of the players.

Sylis Jaramillo

Coach Sy is a young aspiring coach and teacher and current college student. His teaching experience on and off the court helps him to run practices successfully. His goals are to become a better teacher and coach and to support the kids as they compete, play and learn.

Emilee Davidson

Coach Emilee loves coaching and being able to give back to the younger generation. She has had many wonderful coaches who helped her grow as a player and is excited to have the opportunity to pay it forward. She is a former player in the A-Train program and has also been an athletic trainer. She uses her growing base of skills and knowledge to help the program reach its full potential.

Presley HUTTON

Coach Presley loves basketball and has ambitions to become an NBA analyst. She is learning the art of coaching so that she can make a positive impact on every single kid that walks into the gym.

Myles Spencer

Coach Myles played for the A-Train program many moons ago and learned life lessons that he still carries with him. After sustaining an injury during his college career he chose to lean into lessons learned from his time in the A-Train program. He is excited to pursue coaching along side Coach Alex in a program that helps to build well rounded athletes that focus not only on basketball but on academics and service in the community as well.
